Change and changemakers are a central focus of much ancient
philosophy. This workshop will seek to identify ideas from these ancient
discussions which have salience to our contemporary philosophical
debates concerning change, suggesting how these ideas may advance
our current thinking.
This workshop is a collaborative initiative of the Change and
Changemakers Network (Siegen) together with the Mereology of
Potentiality Project (Oxford).
Speakers will include Sean Costello, Simon Evnine, Paolo Gigli, Arthur Harris, Tyler Huismann, Ludger Jansen, Anna Marmodoro, John Pemberton, Aleksei Pleshkov, Tiberiu Popa, Ryofu Pussel, Petter Sandstad, Barbara Sattler, Daniel Saudek, Johanna Seibt, Thomas Seissl, Helen Steward and Niko Strobach.
All researchers with an interest in these areas are invited to attend. To register please email: ccm@uni-siegen.de.
For more information please visit the workshop webpage: https://ccm.uni-siegen.de/ccmap/
